Monday's Song

Yesterday I posted some pre-wedding pics Erin and I took this weekend. The professional ones are coming, but I couldn't resist snapping a few with my phone of my bride-to-be. If you haven't seen them already, pop over and take a gander.

This week, in celebration of our up-coming day, we are posting some of our favorite romantic tunes. I had already planned my tune for the day, but, as luck would have it, I woke up with a different one running through my head.

How I even know this little diddy, is Erin and I were at the county fair in August.

I snapped this pic in the pavilion where they had set up a giant fan.

It was late and we had seen and tried just about everything the fair had to offer when we heard music. Being the inquisitive cats that we are, we meandered towards the guitar and slightly country vocals of the band playing on the back lot. Turns out the gent in the lead, Ben Rue, was not someone we'd heard before but he sang a song that struck a note--har!--in both of us.

So, here is the song that we heard and the one that was going through my head this morning when I woke. If you haven't heard of Mr. Rue before, I totally recommend giving him a listen on Spotify or Apple Music. Seriously talented up-and-comer.
